About P.R.O.O.F

Paranormal Researchers Of Odd Findings was founded in December of 2008 by Joseph Gallant. As of February 2009 P.R.O.O.F has expanded welcoming five new members to assist in local as well as in statewide investigations. Our investigators, sensitives, and occult specialists come from all walks of life and possess different but equally important personality traits and interpersonal talents that only add to P.R.O.O.F‘s dynamic investigative accomplishments. P.R.O.O.F Members provide assistance to community facilities, museums, cemeteries, private residences, and individuals either suffering paranormal re-occurrence or individualized phenomenon.

P.R.O.O.F also provides at no cost to you or the community, a public presentation, providing consumers and paranormal fanatics with collected evidence of the so-said haunted location. We do this, as means of educating others on the paranormal and its diverse complexities. P.R.O.O.F‘s ultimate goal is to restore faith and re-establish fact in eternal existence.

Joseph Gallant (Founder)

Joseph, 28 of Tolland CT is the proud Founder for the Connecticut Paranormal Researchers Of Odd Findings. Joseph who delivers nine years paranormal knowledge and expertise to P.R.O.O.F. devotes most of his time and effort towards raising prominent awareness of issues and cases pertaining directly or relating to the paranormal and the unknown. Joseph specializes in spirit communication and provides P.R.O.O.F members with the necessary and furthermore, effective techniques as to conducting investigations and communicating with those that have departed. Joseph takes great pleasure and pride in volunteering his time, educating the general public and the average paranormal consumer on the importance of spirit communication and it’s relating factors.

Amanda DeVivo (Executive Director)

Amanda DeVivo, 27 of Willimantic CT is our Executive Director and has been a member of our organization since February of 2009. Amanda is in charge of locating cases and determining which cases take priority and why. Additionally, Amanda assists the founder with pre-consolations and reviews and currently heads-up all public relations. Amanda brings forth great effort and enthusiasm to P.R.O.O.F. We are all very lucky to have her apart of our growing team.

Patricia Federshak ( Investigator F-1) “On Medical Leave Of Absence”

Pat, 46 of Griswold, CT Brings forth 15+ years into our research team. Pat also has obtained and maintained her Parapsychology certification. Pat has been involved in a number of demanding cases and has provided the team with well thought out advice and guidance. Although Pat is currently on medical absence she continues to contribute to our organizational success.

Ruben Velazquez (Investigator/Head Tech Specialist)

Ruben, 38 of Willimantic CT brings 3 years in-field experience and 15 years paranormal familiarity to the organization. Ruben has proven himself an asset to the leadership aspects of P.R.O.O.F and along with the rest of our team members.

Marc Gates (Lead Investigator F-2)

Marc, 22 of Mansfield Center CT has long been an active beleiver in the paranormal, having grown up in a home where he and his family experienced the wrath of the supernatural world. Marc brings forth three years firsthand experience and 2 years second hand knowlege of the parnaormal and its many diverse complexities. P.R.O.O.F looks forward to working alongside Marc and with an open eye to what he has to offer.

John Szrejna (Lead Investigator F-1)

John, 38 of Ellington CT became interested in the paranormal at a young age, having grown up in a home with paranormal activity. As he grew older he found herself drawn to anything that dealt with mysteries, ghosts, or the unexplained. John loves to read books on the topic to further his knowledge. He is also fascinated by history and old architecture, wondering what kinds of stories they might have to tell.  Above all, John wants to help those who are afraid, to ease their minds and possibly help them in their understanding. P.R.O.O.F is very excited to have John apart of this organization and we look forward to working alongside him.

Jayme LaChappelle (Investigator F-1/F-2)


Jayme, of Ashford, has recently joined P.R.O.O.F as an investigator. She has 4+ years of experience in the paranormal investigating field. She has had an interest in the paranormal as long as she can remember especially after having paranormal experiences as a child. Jayme has always had a strong interest and passion for anything paranormal. She hopes to help others who might be scared gain a better understanding of the paranormal. Jayme loves exploring known haunted places and cemeteries. She is very excited to be part of the P.R.O.O.F team.
John LaChappelle (Investigator F-1/F-2)


John of Ashford, has just joined P.R.O.O.F as an investigator. He has had paranormal experiences ever since he was a young boy. Before joining P.R.O.O.F, he has been investigating with his wife Jayme.  He feels a strong connection to the spirit world. John has always wanted to be part of a paranormal investigating team. Part of his sole focus is to help others understand more about the paranormal. He hopes to be a great asset to the team. Ultimately John want’s to find what we are all looking – proof!
